Navid Kenzul (Persian: نوید کنزول, born April 30, 1994, in Ahvaz, Iran) is an Iranian hacker, cybersecurity activist, and hacktivist. He is widely recognized for his cyber campaigns targeting governments and international institutions in recent years.

Navid became interested in computers at an early age and began programming when he was just 10 years old. By 2009, he was actively engaged in the fields of programming and cybersecurity. Over time, he became a prominent figure in Iran's cyber scene, eventually transitioning into hacktivism.

Notable Activities

• Charlie Hebdo Attack (2015): In response to the publication of offensive cartoons, Kenzul conducted a DDoS attack on the magazine’s website.
• Bahrain Land Registry Hack (2018): He successfully breached the Bahrain government's registry systems, with the attack documented on Zone-H.
• Cyber Attacks on U.S. & Israeli Infrastructure (2023): Kenzul executed a series of cyberattacks on critical infrastructures, including finance, energy, transportation, and communication networks.

Motivation

In interviews, Kenzul has stated that his primary motivation is to draw attention to social injustice and support the oppressed.
